We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "Transport & Logistics Engineer" (m/f/d).
Stellenbeschreibung
- Design and implementation of optimized logistics solutions (Warehousing Logistics) to deliver material from Suppliers up to manufacturing areas (and also reverse flows)
- Design innovative and sustainable T&L future solutions in order to secure optimal operational deployment (operational = running Transport and Logistics, including warehousing activities: reception, storage and dispatch to Point of Use / Point of Delivery and also transport Solutions)
- Guarantee that any future concept designed (either an optimization of the existing solutions or a definition of the new ones) is delivered on time, on cost....and fully aligned with operational and internal Customer’s requirement (Production: Control Production, planning, Industrial Architects, …and also Logistics teams, Transportation, Customs, Finance, ...)
- Ensure that the concepts defined are in accordance with BMS (Business Management System) requirements, which is the system we manage where all the processes are defined to ensure that it is done in a standardized way
- Manage Business and internal Customers’ requirements: the person will need to grant communication and transparency about the designed solutions with all internal stakeholders (the Program, the T&L operational teams, Finance, Customs, Industrial teams ...)
- Build cost estimations about the transport and logistics solutions / improvements that will optimize / contain the T&L costs
- Participate actively in the standardization of any kind of initiative launched by the Transport and Logistics department boosting always a cost avoidance / saving mindset
- Support the onsite team in Germany by Supporting local team, the Local Programs and stakeholders to whichever is related to Transport and Logistics new solutions or demand related to the optimization of the existing ones

Anforderungsprofil
- Completed studies in the field of engineering, supply chain / logistics or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the field of manufacturing / production, project management and supply chain / logistics
- Very good Knowledge of using MS-Office and SAP
- Fluent in English and German
