Your challenges
Joining our HR Processes & Support function in Hamburg, you will become a key player in securing our ambitious journey towards establishing more globally aligned HR processes and support.
- Set the direction of the unit, ensuring that the right competences are in place and continuously developed.
- Ensure back-up and reduce vulnerability of the function through utilisation of resources and facilitating internal knowledge sharing.
- Build internal competence on all processes across the regional area to establish a competence centre.
- Engage with local businesses via HRBPs and management teams ensuring that deliveries are perceived relevant, in time, of right quality, and value-adding.
- Drive the operational side of people initiatives within the region, and guarantee continued operational stability.
- Be ultimately responsible that support deliveries are efficient and fulfil business needs, and that processes are GDPR compliant and adhering to local legislation and requirements.
- Build knowledge of, relations with, and processes around regional authorities, collaboration partners and channels of information.
- Be responsible for optimising and streamlining tasks and activities within the region and in alignment with the Global HR Processes & Support function.
- Develop strong relations with local HRBP and managers on deliveries, with vendors and co-operation partners on processes, and with peers on coordination of activities.
Your qualifications
- Have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or similar.
- Have management experience from HR support function, preferably within the DACH region and if possible leading distance teams across borders.
- Have thorough knowledge of all steps of the employee journey, including best-practice service delivery models.
- Have an active role in teamwork in order to ensure a positive team spirit
- Have a thorough understanding of and experience with processes covered by an HR shared service function.
- Have an analytical mindset and a passion for continuous process optimisation.
- Demonstrate experience working with both blue-collar and white-collar employees.
- Are experienced in navigating in matrix organisations.
- Are a result-oriented manager with excellent communication skills.
- Are an empowering leader that is passionate about creating an inclusive environment.
- Are fluent in written and spoken German and have high proficiency in English.
