As our Performance Marketing Manager (Mobile Apps), you will own the growth of one of Germany’s leading subscription-based cooking apps. You’ll manage paid acquisition, App Store Optimization (ASO), creative testing, attribution, and performance analysis to scale user growth efficiently across international markets.
Working closely with Product, CRM, Data, and Design, you’ll continuously optimize the entire mobile growth funnel—from first impression to subscription.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and scale mobile user acquisition across Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Apple Search Ads (ASA)and other paid acquisition channels.
- Plan, launch and optimize high-performing performance marketing campaigns for iOS and Android.
- Manage advertising budgets while continuously improving ROAS, ROI, CAC, CPA, CPI, and LTV.
- Develop data-driven bidding, targeting, audience segmentation and creative testing strategies.
- Execute continuous A/B testing, incrementality testing and creative optimization to maximize campaign performance.
- Drive App Store Optimization (ASO) for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including keyword optimization, conversion rate optimization and store listing improvements.
- Monitor campaign performance using AppsFlyer, Mixpanel, Looker, GA4 and other analytics platforms to identify growth opportunities.
- Analyze attribution data, user cohorts and retention metrics to improve acquisition quality and subscription conversion.
- Collaborate closely with CRM to improve the complete user lifecycle, onboarding and retention strategies.
- Work together with Product, Design and Engineering to improve landing pages, Custom Product Pages (CPP), Deep Linking and tracking implementation.
- Create compelling ad copy and campaign messaging in German and English.
- Stay on top of the latest mobile marketing trends, privacy changes (SKAN), attribution developments and platform best practices.
WHAT YOU BRING

Required
- 2+ years of experience in Performance Marketing, User Acquisition, Growth Marketing or Mobile App Marketing
- Fluent in German and English
- Hands-on experience managing paid acquisition campaigns on:
- Meta Ads
- Google Ads
- TikTok Ads
- Apple Search Ads
- Experience managing six-figure monthly advertising budgets is a plus
- Strong understanding of:
- Mobile attribution
- AppsFlyer
- SKAdNetwork (SKAN)
- Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs)
- Practical experience with App Store Optimization (ASO), keyword research and conversion optimization
- Experience with A/B testing, creative experimentation and performance optimization
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using:
- AppsFlyer
- Mixpanel
- Looker
- GA4
- Excel or SQL (nice to have)
- Deep understanding of mobile growth metrics including:
- ROAS
- ROI
- CAC
- CPI
- CPA
- LTV
- Retention
- Conversion Rate
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Braze, Iterable or similar
- Ability to translate data into actionable growth initiatives
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with Product, CRM, Design and Engineering
