Our client, Pentapharm AG, is an international and innovative company and is part of the DSM Firmenich Group. They employ approximately 100 people and specialize in the production and global sale of active ingredients for the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries.

Junior Supply Planner & Product Management Associate (m/f/d)
Location: Aesch, BL
Position
The Junior Supply Planner & Product Management Associate will assume responsibility for a specific product portfolio within the Pentapharm business areas.
As a Supply Planner, you create long and mid-term supply planning for intermediates and finished products and support short-term scheduling.
You will act as Supply Chain Business Partner for the commercial organization. You support Sales and Marketing and interact with external customers on demand and supply items, as well as on product life cycle management.
The position reports to the Team Lead Product Management and Planning Leads.
Tasks
- Develop long and mid-term supply plans for intermediates and finished products
- Monitor stock levels, generate internal reports & initiate sourcing for external materials
- Oversee internal artwork and labelling changes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, especially GMP and IVDR
- Assist manufacturing operations with short-term scheduling
- Supervise the availability of key externally sourced materials
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure a seamless supply
- Support the commercial organization in engaging with external customers regarding demand and supply items
- Coordinate internal and external cross-functional activities related to product life cycle management, particularly those associated with technical operations
Qualification
- University degree preferably in pharmaceuticals, business engineering or business economics
- Experience in supply chain of pharmaceutical, medical devices or cosmetics industry
- Experience in demand and supply planning
- Know-how in working with ERP and planning IT systems
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills
- Willingness to participate in projects developing a new supply and scheduling tool.
- Ability to work under own initiative with a solution-oriented approach and a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration
- Familiarity in compliance with pharmaceutical and medical device regulations
- Excellent communication skills, open-mindedness, and attention to detail
- Good conversational level of German (B1/B2) with a good command of English
