What tasks can you expect?

The role will involve routing, switching, and firewall configurations:

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IP-based networks, including access, routing, and switching
Deploy and manage enterprise-grade routers, switches, and firewalls
Ensure network performance, availability, and security across all layers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project deployments and infrastructure changes
Create and maintain technical documentation (network diagrams, configs, procedures)
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis

What characterizes you?

Strong hands-on experience with TCP/IP (IPv4 & IPv6) protocols, including advanced live protocol analysis and troubleshooting
Solid expertise in Layer 2 switching, including trunking, VLAN configuration, and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)
In-depth experience with BGP configuration and troubleshooting
Experience implementing and debugging RIP and OSPF routing protocols
Strong working knowledge of MPLS, including LDP, VPNv4, and VPNv6
Proven experience deploying and debugging secure firewalls and site-to-site IPsec VPNs
Practical experience with DNS, DHCP, and Proxy servers
Familiar with IT infrastructure monitoring tools such as PRTG and Nagios
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Visio for documentation and diagramming
Analytical approach to problem solving
Strong communication skills, including both verbal and written English
Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve issues quickly and completely
Sharp troubleshooting faculties, deductive reasoning, and careful attention to detail
