Your tasks

As our new Finance Manager (SaaS focus) (f/m/d) you will be responsible for standardizing and productizing our financial reporting, invoicing, controlling, and forecasting at Aaron.ai.

Concretely, your road to success will include:

• Introducing modern SaaS reporting and tooling to keep stakeholders such as our product, marketing and sales teams, founders as well as investors happy and fully informed
• Professionalizing our revenue-, cost- and liquidity controlling and forecasting for internal stakeholders, identifying financial levers for growth and profitability improvements
• Supporting the product team in setting up scalable self-service processes which automate and reduce or even avoid payment- and dunning related manual efforts and delinquencies
• Advising founders on Aaron’s funding strategy and preparing data-driven decision proposals
• Standardizing our invoicing processes, to facilitate timely and reliable billing during Aaron’s scaleup phase and beyond
• Standardizing and automating our dunning process and customer communication to reduce the time-to-payment and the share of delinquencies
• Preparing, moderating, and tracking our budgeting and expense approval processes and tooling
• Guiding more junior team members in public grant application- and administration processes, as well as coordinating our accounting freelancer and tax advisors when needed

Requirements

• You’ve completed at least a Bachelor’s degree at a university or a university of applied science, ideally in Business with a major in Corporate Finance, Controlling or related topics
• You have already gained about 1-2 years of work experience working as a finance manager, having worked with reporting, controlling, and forecasting with management interaction
• An application must-have: of the above work experience, you’ve spent ≥6 months in a Software-as-a-Service company
• You are an analytical thinker with particular strengths in analysis and data-crunching, using data-driven methods to prepare decisions, but not forgetting your intuition on the way
• You are driven by the purpose of revolutionizing our healthcare system, and always do what you do because you love it
• You’re capable of interacting and advising less data/financially affine colleagues, and love guiding others through complex analyses
• You are a team player who loves to work in a fast-paced, purpose-driven, and values-centered startup environment
• You have a very good command of the English language and have at least B2 level command of the German language
