In order to support our growth, we enlarge our technical support team, positions are open in Zürich. We are currently looking for qualified and motivated Network/IT support technicians understanding and experienced in the domains of LAN & WLAN (WiFi) topology & configuration, GPON technology and CPE configuration.
Your mission
As a member of the team, you will act as a technical support and handle requests reaching the technical team. You will assist customer care agents and customers in order to solve problems. A high degree of autonomy and flexibility is required in order to own and drive incident resolution, including:
- Interactions with customers to support
- Visits to customers (troubleshooting, recommendation, resolution)
- Visits to technical sites (troubleshooting, maintenance, validations)
- Collaboration with Partners on Fiber infrastructure related topics
- Testing of products to validate features or reproduce issues (traces, root cause)
- Handling of escalations with relevant internal teams
Your duties
- Manage incidents and requests according to our internal policies (logging, tracking, closure)
- Perform troubleshooting on technical issues, follow-up until resolution
- Liaise with vendors or vendor support teams when required
- Advise customer on appropriate action
- Stay up to date with new system/product information, changes and updates
What you bring
- Driving licence
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Working knowledge of relevant software, hardware and other sytem (issues tracking systems, standard network & system commands on Windows/MacOS)
- Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
- Knowledge of WAN/LAN/WLAN (WiFi)
- Related experience in troubleshooting
- Good German (C1) and English (B2) or French (B2), Italian is a plus
- FTTH experience is a plus
