Your mission
As a Data Analyst, you will be in charge of manipulating large amounts of operational and financial data, extract key insights using data science/statistical/analytical concepts, and provide recommendations to business owners and leadership in order to improve performance and results.
Your duties
- Perform various data analytics and provide detailed and comprehensive outcomes to management and business owners in order to identify optimisations of business processes and performances related to the financial lifecycle of the customers
- Participate in all company’s projects and initiatives affecting credit risk and collection models and conduct all necessary analysis to assess the impact on finance, customer and sales related processes. Key analyses will notably include:
- Research and analyse impacts of macro-economic behavior on portfolio performance
- Solve complex customer behavior problems using data science/machine learning/NLP approaches
- Develop, maintain, and monitor Credit Risk/Collection models emphasizing both prediction accuracy, and the impact to losses and profitability
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide reports in support of ongoing business decisions, initiatives or pressing issues and communicate findings effectively by translating them into recommendations, which can be used for decision-making or implementing corrective actions.
- Help with setting up of analytics and reporting to make sure that the key measures are actively monitored. Ensure that key operational and financial KPI’s used for the monitoring of the activities and performance are always adequate, accurate and published in due time
- Support the corporate reporting team for complex data reconciliation and manipulation
What you bring
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst managing large volumes of Data
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (Python, Mathlab, Rstudio, XMLor Javascript)
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
- BS or Master in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work under time pressure demanded by tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
- Fluent in both French and English required.
